Chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) is a complex and heterogeneous disease that is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Despite efforts to standardize the diagnosis, treatment, and management of this progressive disease, clinical practice has consistently underdiagnosed and undertreated this condition. As a result, patients with COPD continue to be associated with a poor quality of life, and there has remained an unmet need to improve its continuum of care. Recent literature, GOLD reports, pharmacotherapy recommendations, and the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic have created opportunities for improved care and questions on clinical implementation. This program will provide a brief overview of recent developments and recommendations related to CAPTURE and Management in the SARS-CoV-2 Pandemic. We encourage you to bring your pressing questions to this expert faculty led discussion.
