This educational activity has been designed to meet the needs of US-based nephrology healthcare professionals, including nephrology physician assistants, nurse practitioners and patients.


Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • RECOGNIZE the complex pathophysiology of chronic kidney disease (CKD), including the increased risks of cardiovascular and renal events and the roles of MRs and aldosterone in disease progression
  • INTEGRATE evidence-based screening and diagnostic processes into the early recognition of CKD
  • REVIEW recent clinical trial outcomes expanding on the use of MR antagonists for patients with CKD
